  Security definitely needs some improvement: our keycard (rooms are equipped with electronic contactless locks) expired before checkout, and a very kind and resolutive cleaning guy, at the corridor, opened the room for us... without checking our identities. Furthermore, there is a storage room for luggage, bikes, etc which, also, has poor security (the guy at reception literally said "please, help your selves, I'm gonna pee", when we asked to retrieve our goods). Anyway, I would recommend it, just be advised in case you're carrying valuable items.

  My family and I stayed here one night while doing the Camino and compared to many of the other hostels we've stayed at this was great! It is clean, friendly, and it has a private bathroom and shower for every room. The largest room I saw had 5 beds. It is next door to the bus station and is also very close to the Burgos Cathedral and the Museum of Human Evolution. The only drawback was the long wait to check-in and the fact that the rooms weren't very sound-proof.

  Clean. Really friendly and helpful staff. Modern. Right next to bus station so ideal if you are Pellegrino catching a bus the next morning. Very quick to reach center 5-10 minute walk. Price a bit high for the bunk beds but still worth it.

  Nice place, very centric and clean. Won't say dirty, but cleanliness could improve. Room included private shower which is great. Breakfast included in the price.

  Large albergue/hostal located above the bus station in Burgos. Could work for a one night stay on your camino.

  I compare this hostel to all the others I've been to. Overall, this hostel can be characterized as a quick stop along the way to somewhere else and you feel it in the atmosphere. The hostel is austere with mainly the basics available. The staff are located at the reception floor, while guests are upstairs eating breakfast and do not interact with cleaning staff. The breakfast itself is hardly worth mentioning as all you get is some white bread and coffee with a bit of jam and milk and I you like. The beds are quite new, very comfortable, clean and provide a warm duvet. The staff downstairs are sympathetic and help out as best they can. It's good to stay here for a night and it's quite cheap. Fortunately, the city has lots to offer and you can spend about a day and a half exploring the cathedral, the old streets and the bars that offer tasty tapas. I would have given this hostel a 4, but the door locking mechanism was broken and kept beeping incessantly every time anyone left or entered (hopefully it will be fixed soon).
